​Though there have been a few changes throughout the years, one thing has remained constant - Sunny Sands is, and always has been a family-oriented, clothing-optional community. Though we are nestled in northwest Volusia County's fern fields, Sunny Sands is within a reasonable driving distance from Orlando, Jacksonville, Ocala, Ocala National Forest,

Silver Springs, St Augustine, Daytona and, Daytona Beach.



Hot Tub and Pool



Need a place to relax in the sun or shade? Our pool and hot tub overlook our lake on one side, while the intricate branches and canopy of live oaks cast tranquil shade on the opposite side.



Wildlife ~ Lake



With 42 acres of land, we have plenty of other residents as well. Bird watchers will enjoy our diverse range of wild visiting birds, as well as other mammals and amphibians.

Cathy and I love what the news owners have done with the place. This park is extremely clean, the pool is spotless, the staff is extremely friendly, the bar is well stocked. But most of all, the staff make you feel welcomed.

Amazing experience. The bartenders made it great. They brought out water and shots to the pool to keep everyone refreshed and relaxed. The trees are soothing and the nature is emolisfying.. We have been to many resorts and found this one to be superlative. We will be returning.

We just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Sunny Sands. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. It was a pleasant surprise in a world where most people seem to keep to themselves. We have also found that at some of the nudist resorts we have gone to where new people are sometimes treated as outsiders. We never felt that way at Sunny Sands. Thank you for being such great hosts and we will definitely be back to visit again in the future.

My wife and I went for week end getaway, this was our first timer here, back in October 2021, the staff and residents were absolutely wonderful. they made us feel at home. We rented a park model , every thing was clean nice. we re looking forward to going back . To the new owners , keep up the good work!!

Good rates for RV and tent camping. Large pool and hot tub, both clean. Plenty of hiking area and recently added lake. Friendly to all groups who prefer the naked lifestyle. Clubhouse had good options for food and entertainment.

Friendly people!!! The grounds are beautiful. You can get your 6 thousands steps per day by circling the golf course. Bring a frisbee or a few clubs. It is a very casual golf course. No holes, just flags. When your ball stops inside a circle around a flag, that is "in the hole". It is free and it is fun.I have been going to ss for 30 yrs I still have not found a better place, you won't be dissapointed. More nature than you can handle. Pool was awesome, Hot tub was amazing. There are no strangers here, just friends I haven't met. A real clean and wholesome atmosphere. I tent camped here and loved it. I'll definitely be back all summer. OH! And the pond! It's amazing, it's very large and you can walk around it and from what I see canoe in it too, the place is huge. I love it.
